About Us
Caitlyn and Joel began their ballroom endeavor at the age of 16. They learned the basics of ballroom and swing here in Boise, but eventually had to travel else where to further their instruction. Finding their way to Portland and eventually Seattle, Caitlyn and Joel were able to take both private lessons and workshops to hone their Lindy Hop into something they know and love. At the same time they also continued and intensified their ballroom training. In San Francisco they've been working with their professional ballroom coach and got their teachers certification in American Core through DVIDA. Today they continue their training in both ballroom and Lindy Hop as they run the Heirloom and attend Boise State University as full time students.
